Myf is 30 years old and married to Patrick. She is a Speech Pathologist and Advance Care Planning Clinician in the fields of Aged Care and Geriatric Evaluation and Management. Her work involves managing the Speech Pathology Service at a 60 bed inpatient unit and a Psycho-geriatric residential care facility.
Her clinical responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis and identification of strategies for communication and swallowing which will maximise each patient’s ability to care for themselves and to meaningfully participate in community, social and family contexts.
She also support patients and families to make plans for their future health care and to formally record and disseminate their Advance Care Plans.
Outside of work she enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing, sea kayaking, travelling, history, theatre and music.
